GRADE 1008 DP
Induction Iron’s 1008 DP is a great source of iron units for production of plain and low carbon alloy steels, and some stainless steels. Our 1008DP is thoroughly washed and dried resulting in material that is free of any oil and contamination, leading to less smoke when melting and reduced inclusions and porosity in the resulting castings.
TYPICAL CHEMISTRY
We have our own spectrometer in house and test our material methodically to ensure exacting specifications. Our loads are heat certified.

Typical sizing of Grace 1008 DP is 1" X 1 3/4" X 1/6th - 1/8th " in thickness
SHIPPING
Grade 1008 DP can ship in covered 55 gallon steel drums and gaylord boxes.
